Sprite Zero

My fave drink second to Diet Coke or Coke Light, a must visit to the local convenience store at least every two days to buy it. I am not into dieting but I am trying to lose that extra fat that I have. I like this drink because I just like the lemoney taste which is better than the regulars.

Quick facts on Sprite Zero:

• Produced by Coca-Cola company.
  
• Formerly named as Sugar Free Sprite in 1974 and Diet Sprite in 1983.
• It contains the artificial sweetener, Aspartame, largely used in other diet drinks.

Flooding

The heavy downpour at noon caused flooding at the main entrance gate. Big 4wd cars could just make their way smoothly unlike two unfortunate cars who stalled right in the middle of the flood. I had to stop, I did not want to risk my car so sat back, took out my camera and got some shots.

Every time a car passed by, the stalled car was pushed aside by the waves.

I did not dare risk my car, look at the height of the water.


I had to rush out and took this shot of my colleague pushing the jeep. What I did not realise that I didnt use an umbrella so my camera was a bit wet, hopefully its fine.

Man Utd 1 - Chelsea 1

It was a hard fought battle in the midfield. Scholes and Carrick were controlling the midfield very well. Carrick deserved the Man of the Match, there was some good passes from him. He has shown his true worth in a United shirt. Another player should deserved Man of the Match is Cristiano Ronaldo, he was as usual wrecking havoc with the defence but sometime made useless runnings. Man Utd had the chance to lead the table with 6 points all the way to 70th minute when Carvalho's header made it sure the match was still levelled. That goal should have been saved. Van Der Sar could not get his hand on the ball, had not Saha was standing on his way guarding the right post, VDS could at least get a touch and prevent the goal. Its still 3 point lead at the top. I hope next match is a definite 3 point, again at home against Everton.

Memory Card

Leong Camera has put up a price offer on some memory cards. Quite a good offer..I wish there were offering Kingston as well. I bought my Sandisk Ultra II 1gb from Thailand through my brother for equivalent to Brunei $$...$86 which is not bad. My next buy is a 4gb Kingston card. QQestore also offers good prices for Kingstons and I think they stopped selling Sandisk.

This guy put up this vid as a warning to this girl who according to him played pranks on him and his family. He didn't show any video of this girl, don't know what type of video is it. Mini Macro Mo

Photography takes a lot of patience especially when taking macro shots according to Bruneian. I don't have that patience yet but I'm willing to learn more into Photography. Looking at Bruneian macro pics just inspired me. These are just my first attempt at macro photography with the kit lens, it was easy, closing in the subject and snap.

Serve, Dig, Set and Spike

Volleyball is my new sport when I joined my school. I never thought of playing it but once I tried I really like it. I want to learn more about it and at least be good at it. Today we started a two-day course at school, one of the many courses that has been conducted for our teachers since last week.

Celtic vs Man Utd

Magician Nakamura spoiled United qualifying celebration.


A magical free kick goal from Nakamura was enough to send United to the dressing room pondering on a possible third early exit from Champions League next round. It was a lacklustre performance from United, a reminiscence of the team who has been inconsistent for the past three seasons. What even worst was the missed penalty from Louis Saha, he won't have a good night sleep after that. To qualify for the next stage, United has to give all out attack against Benfica who was with a win last night, two points behind United. A draw would be enough to secure the second spot but anything can happen and Benfica had proved it last year against United.

Health Promotion

MOH Health promotion

The school was having a one whole day Health Promotion activites co-organised by Ministry of Health. The event started with a fun aerobic for everyone, I had an excuse because this was when I would be taking the candid shots. They were separate occassions being held involving health talks on breast cancer, cleanliness and other health issues. The event finished off with a quiz and prize presentations. So people get yourself check, what is your B.M.I (Body Mass Index), I fall into the *cough* over weight category. I need to lose this spare tayar. There is also this device like a F1 steering wheel, it measures your percentage of body fat. Mine is above 25%, normal percentage for men is in between 10%-20%, mana inda Leather tabal lah.

This is what I do best mostly at work. Whenever there is a special event at school, I will be asked to design either programme covers or the whole programme book. The tools most likely I use are Photoshops and InDesign. Next year I want to learn more about Illustrator since this is the best tool for print design. Last project for this year is the annual school magazine. Our school has been doing this since it started and the tradition stays onAs usual I will be designing the cover, which I have not start but it will be soon. Added work is designing the school's picture gallery of the whole year's event. Here are some of my designs from this year.

I found about this yesterday. I thought something was wrong with the connection. Who could possibly did this, he must be one heck of a hacker. Ayermuleh was hacked few weeks ago, so now both Brustu and Ayermuleh are undergoing massive reconstruction. All the best to Zeroskull, hope you can pull one hell of a recovery.

Condolonces

My heartfelt condolonces goes to the family of my grand uncle Hj Hamidon who just passed away while he was visiting his daugther whose husband is having training at Pulau Pinang. This is a shocking news to me. May Allah bless him and his family. Al-Fatihah.

School Programme

I have been enjoying designing stuff using Photoshop for nearly 6 years. This is the latest design for a school programme next year, which took me about 2 days. It's a two page design with front and back. The ideas came from watching this Mr.Bean's TV3 ad where it has this scrapbook of pictures, notes and there is another one showing all sorts of things on a desk like a notepad, a computer, which is the Impian Illyana's show. The whole concept is about having a photo scrapbook containing pictures taken about the school's event throughout the year.

Right, this is it, my first blog, first post. Nothing much to say, it feels like a release from all the tension, finally I have something to share. Keep checking this blog, I will post as much as I can.
